I received excellent service for the...
I received excellent service for the identified problem (replacement of tail light). The problem the mechanics "discovered," on the other hand (a repair that would have cost $600 or more), was much less satisfying. Since the problem in question dealt with my brakes, which had been replaced six months prior, I took the car to another shop where a veteran mechanic examined the problem saw no problem that required service. While second opinions are not perfect, the other mechanic would be quite foolish to not recommend service that would have made him a good deal of money. This is not the first time I have been recommended service that either was deemed unnecessary by another mechanic or was priced well beyond what smaller shops charged. Despite the quite pleasant customer service staff, I am disinclined to use Glendora Chevrolet for my future repair needs and am likely to recommend to others that they go elsewhere as well. The refurbished lobby is very nice, but I would rather my car repairs funds pay for a mechanic's salary rather than a flat-screen TV and plush chairs.

I had a problem with my Malibu...
I had a problem with my Malibu overheating. Since the car had over 45,000 miles, I was pretty certain that the cost of repair would not be covered by the warranty and a pretty substantial cost to me. The service department checked on the repairs and it was covered by the warranty. On Memorial weekend, with no appointment, they completed my car within a couple of hours and had me back on the road without any inconvenience. Amazing job!!

We brought our car in on Thursday morning...
We brought our car in on Thursday morning without an appointment to have some routine service and a minor repair done. All the routine maintenance was performed by noon but the minor repair was not done because of a misunderstanding. We brought the car back the next day and the repair was again done by noon. We are not sure what caused the misunderstanding.

Oil change & trans flush while I waited. Bill kept me updated several times during the wait, but my only regret was the fact that the wait time was not long enough for me to eat and drink all of the complimentary donut's & coffee!!
